University Student Ministry

With the university ministry, Nathan is attempting to develop 20 vital and committed students into a group that reaches out to others and attracts them to Christ. This is not particularly easy as the students themselves do not know how to express their faith. Learning to understand and express the Gospel message is an important part of their growing in maturity as Christian young people.

And the field is wide open. Over 6,000 students are enrolled at the university in Tirana, and few have heard the Gospel.

One of the goals for this group is to establish a university student center where students can hang out over coffee use the center's computers to help with class assignments; access academic, theological and spiritual books in the center's library; and attend organized events for students.  We have just submitted a proposal for funding for this project and for the children's ministries, and hope for a positive response.

       Please pray that our students will mature in their faith and reach out to non-Christian students with the Gospel.  Pray also that funding for the student center and the children's ministries will come through.
