The Lynette Hoppe Memorial Fund
Wednesday, December 5, 2006
Lynette dedicated her life to serving her lord by sharing the Gospel and serving the poor in Albania. After her death these ministries continue through the work of fellow missionaries and Albanian coworkers. The Lynette Hoppe Memorial fund has been established to allow her family and friends to participate in continuing Lynette's work of spreading the light and love of Christ in Albania. Your generous gifts to the memorial fund will go directly to provide badly needed financing at strategic points for this work.
When Lynette returned to Albania she told the woman who leads the women's ministry to the poor that it was her desire if she got well to work even more closely with them in reaching out with love to the desperately needy. The memorial fund will help provide resources that these women need to express the love of Christ to the homeless, sick and hungry. Lynette devoted much effort to encouraging, training and facilitating young Albanian leaders in ministry to children and university students. The memorial fund will provide essential resources for the continuity and growth of the ministries of these talented and zealous young people whom Lynette loved so deeply.
The memorial fund has been established at her home parish in Chicago.
