Dear ones,

We had the joy of making Lynette's acquaintance in Albania and were so thrilled by her willing and cheerful spirit. She is a greatly talented lady whose life continues to make a wonderful difference to those around her. We will be praying and asking all in our Christian family to do the same. We are so grateful that Fr. Alexander Veronis' church newsletter alerted us to the Web site.

During this coming season of Lent, the heaven seems to bend down and caress the earth with love. I pray that our fastings and prayers and small sacrifices will be acceptable to God and that our wonderful Lord will take them as a sign that we share his great love for her and that we pray for Lynette's recovery. May we all seek His will above all things.

In Christ,

Dana, Sue, and Jonathan Talley

Dearest Lynette:

I was on your website tonight and I wanted to write you as I am writing through my tears. Dr. Charles Linderman attends our church in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. Their family has always been such an inspiration to me as what a "true Christian life should be". Their mission work in Albania has made me look up to them as angels.... I am sure they are in God's eyes. After reading the story of you and your family... I see another saintly family with a crisis on their hands. What a beautiful response you gave to Dr. Charles...  "First, she consoled me as if I had to engage this struggle instead of her. After a moment to consider what I had just said, she followed with this reflection of her heart: “Well Charles, now I have the blessing of showing the Albanians that we are serious when we say that suffering is an important part of our spiritual growth.”  I have learned tonight of another family of angels...you and your family. My first thought was how tragic this illness should happen to such a godly woman. But than after reading about you... I see that God is working through you to show others that suffering is an important part of our spiritual growth. I had a mother who suffered with liver cancer and she reminds me so much of you. She was an inspiration to all. She never let her faith die and she always keep her hope and spirit alive. She never gave up. God has an unconditional love for us all. He will give you strength when you have none, He will give you hope when there is no hope left. He will give you his love and comfort at the exact time when you need it most. I know because he did this for my mother and family every day. I read all the beautiful prayers on your website and mine is very simple:

May God bless you and your family with the strength to get through this, the love for one another that is so strong that no one can take it away and the happiness and joy in that you know the Lord will never leave you. He will be right by you side no matter what storms you will face. With the Lord by your side what else is more wonderful than this. God bless you my dear Lynette and I thank you for all your hard work in your life to serve our Lord. It sounds like you have done this beautifully.

Love,

Dr. Nina Christine Lichvarik, St. Innocent Parish, Olmsted Falls, Ohio
