Dear Lynette and Nathan,

Our prayers are with you at this time. May our Holy Lord help you and strengthen you. This past week our church members in St. Cloud have been praying the Akathist to the icon of Theotokos Pantatissa (Queen of all).

Additionally we will pray for Lynette's health and recovery tomorrow to
the Royal Martyrs of Russia on their day of commemoration.
Tsar Nicholas is a great saint who suffered much and who helps much to
those in great need.

Attached also is a copy of the Portrait of Fr. Vladimir of Diveevo. He
was a righteous priest who reposed in the Lord in 2001 after battling
cancer. His prayers during his lifetime cured many people afflicted with
this disease. Also, even now he hears us from Heaven when people pray TO
him and serve panihida services at his grave in Diveevo.
May God grant you full healing and recovery through the prayers of Holy
Great Martyr Catherine, Holy Royal Martyrs and Righteous Fr. Vladimir!

       O Lord, Jesus Christ, our Saviour, You became man and suffered death on the cross for our salvation.  Through Your tender love and compassion, you healed all manner of sickness and affliction.  O Lord, visit Your servant Lynette and grant her grace and strength to bear her sickness with patience and submission to You will, trusting in You loving kindness and tender mercy.
     Bless, we pray, the means used for her recovery and those who are trying to help her.  O Lord, we know that we have all sinned against You in thought, word and deed.  Yet be merciful to all of us.  When judging us for our sins, have compassion on us. Grant that these ailments of your servants may be the means of our true repentance.  Give Lynette and all of us the grace to live according to Your will that we may spend the rest of our days in Your love.  For You are indeed a loving and merciful God and we give glory and honor to You, now and ever and forever. Amen.

I attend Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids , Michigan .  Ever since reading of your work and your health challenge, I have been praying for you nightly.

            “Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Physician of our bodies and souls, we beg thee to help Lynette constantly sense your presence about her, encouraging her in her illness and strengthening her in her recovery.  Help her to endure the pains and difficulties of her sickness with the patience that You displayed on the Cross.  Imbue her with hope, faith and true submission to Your Divine Will.  Grant resistance and health to her body and serenity to her soul that she may be able to be restored to full health and vigor, and thus continue her blessed work as a missionary, and as a wife and mother to her precious family.  Amen.”
