What can I pray for such a difficult time you and your family are experiencing? Here are a few words from the Bible that I hope will encourage you.
"lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20b Jesus
"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Numbers 23:19 Balaam who was ordered to curse the Israelites but could only bless them by the Spirit of the Lord.
"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." II Corinthians 1:20 Apostle Paul
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 Jesus
I leave you with a prayer that the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesian Church.
"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:14-21

To the Hoppe Family,
I have been reading your updates and Lynette's newsletters quite frequently. Lynette , you have been in my prayers for some time and will continue to be. You my dear, are an amazing witness to our awesome God. The strength and faith you have shown has inspired me beyond words. I read and re-read your newsletter's because I don't know if I could ever have the faith you do. I cry because I don't know if I could give Glory to God in this circumstance. You have no idea what you have done for me. I teach 6th grade Sunday School at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Pittsburgh, Pa and I am going to use your letters for some of my lessons. I have been happily married to 18 years yet just the few sentences you have written about the love you and Nathan have for each other have inspired me to love my husband more. I find myself praying more, giving God thanks and praise way more than I used to (but of course still not enough) and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an inspiration. Tristan and Katherine will be in my prayers as they began school, but I know that with the prayers you will lift up for them, they are going to be just fine. Please know that while we will never have a chance to meet personally, you will forever be one of the greatest influences I will ever "know".
May God have Mercy on you my dear sister in Christ,

Dear Lynette and family,
As soon as I read your posting my mind was in prayer. May God bless you always and grant you the health you so need. This world needs you. You work is undone here and only God knows the reason for his touch on you. The pathway is a journey, God has not forgotten you. God bless you!
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Skoufis RNC, MSN, IBCLC, PNP (I am a lactation consultant, I see and work with this daily)

Almighty God, we fervently pray and beseech You for bodily healing and relief from pain for both of your handmaidens, Lynette and Marcy. Most especially, send them the blessed soul-strengthening which only comes from You.
And if it be within your will, O Holy One, permit Lynette and her family to return to Albania and to continue to do your work.
We thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to pray together, as a community, for their welfare.
Lord, Hear Our Prayer.
